Direct Support Staff
You will be rewarded with the experience of helping others and making a difference in their lives! Our individuals have developmental disabilities and need compassionate people to assist them with their daily lives. Openings in Mahoning and Trumbull counties.
High school diploma/GED and valid driver’s license required.
We offer set schedules in one location. Overtime is normally available.

Duties:
- Reading, writing, and carrying out directions
- Assists individuals with meal preparation, food and supply purchases, laundry and with maintaining dietary records, as required
- Charting or taking notes for others to review
- Providing companionship and supportive listening
- Reporting changes in the health or status of the client
- Responding to emergency situations
- Administering medication
- Transporting client to appointments
- Facilitating community and recreational outings, including transport
- Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities

Pay: $14.20 per hour
